Painting hidden behind the painting "Woman trampling" by Picasso was brought to light with infrared technology



According to art historians, behind the painting "Woman trampling" of Picasso, there is another hidden picture. Trying out what is behind the painting could mean destruction of the original, which of course is not designed, reports Ubergizmo.

Well, thanks to technology, hidden painting was finally unveiled (photo above) using infrared imaging. This was done by John K. Delaney, Principal Scientist in Imaging at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, which used two infrared cameras - one hyper-spectral and multi-spectral one that helped to compose a detailed picture of hidden painting.


The New York Times published a story hidden painting and even created an image interactive, where users can "scratch" the surface to discover the painting behind her.
