Miley Cyrus brings 'Two and a Half Men' season high ratings
It's been awhile since we last watched Miley Cyrus on the small screen, but the 19-year-old actress looked right at home in her guest appearance on "Two and a Half Men" Thursday night.
Cyrus portrays Missi, the daughter of one of Walden's (Ashton Kutcher) friends who briefly stays with the guys as a house guest.
The former "Hannah Montana" star described her outspoken (and lightly clothed) character as "in your face and blunt" when talking about the gig on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Thursday. "It's really fun and they've never really had a girl character come on like that," she said.
Cyrus added that she's wanted "to work with Ashton forever, and I couldn’t really take time away to do a movie from my record right now. So, we wanted to work together, then we thought ‘Two and a Half Men’ would be the quick and easy way to do it. It turned out to be something that I loved so much I came back for a second episode."
One critic thought the star brought "sexy back" to the CBS sitcom, while another thought she looked like "a bombshell Tinkerbell." But one thing that isn't subjective is her ability to draw an audience, as "Men's" ratings were at a season high Thursday. The episode was watched by 13.6 million viewers and had a 4.0 rating in the 18-49 adult demographic.
