Former head of Italian government Silvio Berlusconi said Saturday, on one of his television stations, TG5, he feels "obligated" to stay "policy to reform the judiciary planet", a day after being sentenced to prison tax fraud, Mediafax.

Sentence was reduced to one year because Berlusconi has a three-year amnesty, said the Court of Milan, at the initial sentencing. Sentence reduction was achieved by virtue of a law dating from 2006 aministierii which was promulgated by the leftist government of that time to reduce overcrowding in prisons

These penalties are still not performed until a final judgment will be pronounced - after appeal and the Court of Cassation. However, until then, facts sufficient time be prescribed.
